Aspen LIMS is shipped with a run-time Microsoft Access 2000/2002 database which is well-suited for the smaller analytical laboratory environment. Aspen Enterprise LIMS supports the use of Oracle (versions 8 or greater) or Microsoft SQL Server (versions 7.x or higher) as the LIMS database backend. This allows the laboratory to select the database best suited for their corporate Information Technology platform. |
